Diane Durrett
Internationally acclaimed singer/songwriter and producer, with vocal prowess, Diane Durrett proves it, again on her 10th American Roots release “Sweet Georgia Blues”. Durrett’s velvet voice shines through on singles Chasing Sunsets and The Sweet Spot which were featured on APPLE Music’s ‘Best New Blues Songs’ playlist. In 2024 Durrett was elected as the President of the Recording Academy Atlanta chapter, best known for the GRAMMYs.
Durrett has honed her craft and has a distinctive voice that touches listeners. Her 2022 album “Put A Lid On It” soared to #2 on the International Roots Music Chart. Critics said, “Flirts with perfection, while remaining full of feeling and spontaneity”. In 2019 her album ‘Diane Durrett & Soul Suga LIVE’ was reviewed as “Killer, high octane soul throughout". In 2017 Durrett and Melissa Junebug were recipients of two Global Peace Song Awards. In 2023 Durrett was awarded an honorary lifetime membership by Atlanta Blues Society.
