Sara Hells

Sara Hells is a 23-year-old Atlanta native based in Nashville, Tennessee. She is a trained vocalist and self-taught guitarist who draws lyrical inspiration from personal struggles and the experiences of her friends. Her original songs are powerful vehicles of storytelling: raw, reflective, and unrestricted. The historic music culture of New Orleans, modern rock and alternative sounds, indie influences, and catchy pop melodies can all be heard in her set. Her musical influences include a wide range of genres- Jeff Buckley, Hozier, Ed Sheeran, and Manchester Orchestra are some of the artists on rotation in her music library. She has entered the singer-songwriter scene this year with two sold out shows at Eddie’s Attic, a slot at 30A Songwriters Festival in 2023 and 2024, and a performance alongside country icons including Brad Paisley and Dierks Bentley at Propst Arena in Huntsville, Alabama for “Still Playin’ Possum: Music & Memories of George Jones”.
